This setup of dispersed intermittent servers around the world could provide a perfect demonstration of the core and edge networks working together to provide store-and-forward capacity. In this use-case, the idea would not be to server a single website from various locations, but to show that nodes dying of battery exhaustion could resurrect and resume their activity unimpeded.
Just an idea, I do not think we now have the capacity to deploy something like this, unless we could e.g., involve hackerspaces.
