When a search on this forum does not result in any hits, the user is suggested to use G**gle.
Maybe the fallback search provider can be changed?
I fear not. I would love to. But the discourse team seems to like default Google integration. I have asked several times that their defaults be different, unfortunately that would require creating a plugin to remove those unwanted dependencies. Maybe I could propose it to the marketplace. There are other places where Google appears, like the calendar. This can be fixed with CSS I think.
